The Steering Board consists of representatives of the institutional members . The Board is responsible for the management of the platform and sets out the strategic lines.

The Scientific Committee is responsible for the scientific activities of CIVITAS.

The Technical- and Archivist Committee, composed of archivists and those who bear responsibility for the development  and implementation of the web portals and databases of the members, collaborates with the Board, providing advisory functions and discussing questions of archival science, archival problems and all issues concerning the digital presence of Civitas-Farcd.
