CIVITAS, the Forum of Archives and Research of Christian Democracy held its second conference in Berlin in November 2014. The Archives of Christian-Democratic Politics (ACDP), the Catholic University in Leuven and the Istituto Sturzo in Rome founded the CIVITAS platform in 2012. More than 35 researchers from Austria, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Poland, Romania, and Spain held discussions in three sessions at the event – put on by the Department of Reference and Research Services/Archives of Christian-Democratic Politics (ACDP) – which included: - the origins and development of Christian democratic networks, networking of Christian democratic circles and how they relate to the European People’s Party (EPP) EPP networks in Europe and Latin America.
