These very extensive archives containfiles about many different policy themes Gaston Geens came in touch with during his long political career as minister and senator. The following themes are dealt with: management of and contact with the CVP (Christian People's Party), education policy, government support to companies, regional economy, economic expansion, speeches of and publications by the minister, financial and fiscal policy, state reform, cultural policy, technological development, language legislation, public works, etc. The archives also contain dozens of files under private persons, companies, organizations, etc.
A collection of photographs was handed over along with the archives.
